Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:03, 22 September 2014 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Bodhisattvas of the Earth, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.sgilibrary.org/search_dict.php?id=175.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Bodhisattvas of the Earth
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Bodhisattvas of the Earth requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.sgilibrary.org/search_dict.php?id=175. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Richard Yin (talk) 15:33, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 03:24, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
- You appear to have placed your (very voluminous) comments in the wrong section. Please be more careful, and please consider scaling them back to something more likely to be read. Acroterion (talk) 03:25, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Acroterion. I am still a relatively new editor and appreciate all feedback. I am not aware of deleting or editing legitimate talk page comments. Can you please let me know where I did this? I apologize and will take responsibility for fixing the situation right away. Ditto about the voluminous comments--where are you pointing to? Thank you. Other stuff to do
[edit]Hi, BrandenburgG. You mentioned in the ANI discussion that you were interested in other stuff to do. One place to look might be the WP:Guild of Copy Editors. They always have articles that need copy editing, many by editors whose native language isn't English. Another place is User:SuggestBot. That works really well, although it needs some input on what you're interested in. Right now it will probably suggest SG-related topics, which might not be what you had in mind. Anyway, don't worry about the drama boards. I was here for five years before I even knew they existed. I've been holding off on editing the SG article myself, thinking that it's more important to create space for you and Daevler to work. We aren't there yet, but I'm happy with the direction it's going. I think this has the potential to be a really good article. Unlike so many Wikipedia articles that are just a collection of well-sourced but random facts. Like the Toda article, where now you get a sense of not just what happened but what it all means. So I just wanted to say thanks for that. – Margin1522 (talk) 05:04, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for your thoughts, Margin1522.

PS, I finished mt first copy edit job! See, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Hermosillo_daycare_center_fire Reactions: this is meticulous but important work!
- I read it. Good work. That's my favorite part of editing Wikipedia, to get an article to the point where people don't notice the language and just think "That was a good article". – Margin1522 (talk) 19:00, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

Finished working on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thai_Pongal#Kaanum_Pongal
Now this is supposed to go on your user page (instead of your talk page) with a pipe character (|) and a parameter (e.g. 1), like this:

Soka Gakkai page needs help
[edit]If this is a breach of etiquette or Wiki policy, please stop reading now and let me know. I’m very concerned about the tenor of the Soka Gakkai page, and specifically that it’s not really a “Soka Gakkai” page; to a great extent, it’s a “Nichiren Shoshu’s View of the Soka Gakkai” page. If you have time, could you look at it and see if you also get that impression? (The opening of Beliefs and Practices, and the sub section on Daisaku Ikeda most specifically). Thank you. I've also sent this to a couple of other editors who seem more objective than myself.--Daveler16 (talk) 17:02, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Bodhisattvas of the Earth
[edit]The article Bodhisattvas of the Earth has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not notable. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Also, this article started out as pure COPYVIO and now is "rewritten" copyvio as far as I can tell.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ogress smash! 01:07, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
Nomination of Bodhisattvas of the Earth for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Bodhisattvas of the Earth is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bodhisattvas of the Earth until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Ogress smash! 01:10, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

[edit]References
[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them.) WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN.
- While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which has a button "Cite" click on it
- Then click on "Automatic" or "Manual"
- For Manual: Choose the most appropriate template and fill in the details, then click "Insert"
- For Automatic: Paste the URL or PMID/PMC and click "Generate" and if the article is available on PubMed Central, Citoid will populate a citation which can be inserted by clicking "Insert"
We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia.
